How long do the bacteria live on this ceramic filter out of the water?

We have not conducted such detailed experiments, but based on reviews of our previous customers, the ceramic filter can preserve its damp even a week after being pulled out of the water. For optimum success, though, we recommend you to resubmerge these biofilters as soon as possible.
